Welcome to JobbyJosh.com (the “Platform”), a marketplace that connects skilled workers (Service Providers) such as plumbers, carpenters, electricians, and handymen with individuals and businesses who need home improvement, repair, and maintenance services (Clients).
By accessing or using JobbyJosh.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Terms of Service
1.1 Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old. Service Providers must possess the required skills, licenses, and insurance for the services they offer.
1.2 User Accounts You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
1.3 Service Provider Listings Service Providers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their profiles, pricing, and services. JobbyJosh does not verify skills, background checks, or licenses.
1.4 Job Requests Clients are responsible for providing clear and accurate job descriptions. All contracts, payments, and work arrangements are made directly between the Client and the Service Provider. JobbyJosh is not a party to any such agreement.
1.5 Prohibited Activities You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, abuse, or discriminate against any user
- Offer illegal or unlicensed services
- Use the Platform for any purpose other than connecting workers and clients
1.6 No Warranty & Disclaimer The Platform is provided “as is”. JobbyJosh makes no guarantees regarding the quality, safety, or availability of any service. We are not responsible for disputes, damages, injuries, or losses between users.
1.7 Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobbyJosh’s total liability shall not exceed INR 5,000.
1.8 Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat.
1.9 Changes to Terms We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
